Dining Room Ideas

Sorry I've been so M.I.A. lately...I haven't been feeling very well for most of the past couple of weeks. Plus, I've become addicted to Pinterest. What is Pinterest, you may ask? It's a site where you can organize things online that you like, kind of like an electronic picture list. Say you're browsing a furniture site, and you see a really awesome sofa. You think to yourself, "Wow, that would be awesome for the living room when we move into the new house." You don't want to forget about that couch, so you pin it to a home decor board. Now, if you click on the sofa's picture on your board, it will take you back to the website you found it on.

I thought I'd share a few dining room ideas I've pinned to my For The Home board on Pinterest.

I love this Brownstone Badgley Mischka "Bridgette" Floral Tablecloth, available at Macy's

I haven't found placemats I really like yet. I'd get solids so they wouldn't detract from the tablecloth. I might even try making them myself. The same goes for napkins.

As for dishes, I did want brightly colored ones, but now I'm thinking I want white dishes. They're classic, and they go with anything. I could switch up the table linens according to the occasion, and the dishes would still go with them. I really like the Java Dinnerware in Pure White from Z Gallerie. I love that the square shape adds a modern touch.

Z Gallerie also has a lot of really cool napkin rings that I love, like these Floral Napkin Rings. I love how it would add a new textural element to the table set up.

I REALLY love this Exeter 16-Jar Pendant from Pottery Barn. It's so cool looking, and I think it would be perfect over a dining room table.

If you like, feel free to follow me on Pinterest. I love being able to share ideas with other people and see different pin boards.

  1. Hi there! I followed you over from TK (and now I am following you here). I love those napkin rings. They are so pretty!

So are you allowed to paint and install stuff in your apartment? Or are you just looking into stuff for a future home?

I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I read and respond to each and every one. Thank you so much!
