Isn't It Ironic?

Wednesday, March 21, 2012

Well, it's Wednesday. The day we were supposed to be getting to our new place in Tampa.
But we're still in Indiana.
Monday night, the night before we were supposed to leave, it was announced that the company Tom was going to be working for was pulling operations in Tampa (we're very glad we found this out before we went!). After a long discussion of what we want out of life, we have decided to stay in Indiana and pursue some pretty lofty dreams (there will be more about those later, but we're trying to get everything figured out before we go public). I think in the long run, we'll be a lot happier and creatively fulfilled.

On a related note, my wonderful mama gave me her barely-used sewing machine, so there's going to be a whole lot more crafting going on here! I'm really excited to get reacquainted with machine sewing, and there are several projects I'm excited to tackle.

So I'm sorry to build up all the excitement about a move that never happened, but there is a lot of excitement yet to come this year.

  1. Life doesn't always work out like we hope, but it always works out for the best. I am so excited about what is to come! And YAY for the sewing machine! Maybe we can tackle the same project and blog about it together! That would be awesome!

  2. That would be fun! I've already got my flannel for some unpaper towels :)

  3. Florida public schools, on average, suck. Not that IN is better, but y'know. Looking at the positives.

    1. Public schools seem to terrify me more by the year. We've been seriously considering homeschooling.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I read and respond to each and every one. Thank you so much!
