Old Navy Summer Casual

Wednesday, May 30, 2012

I've always been a big fan of Old Navy.  Their clothes are usually fairly priced, they stock a lot of classic pieces with a twist (which I love), and their clothes usually fit me well (which is kind of amazing for me).  With that in mind, I decided to create and outfit made of items entirely from Old Navy.  I wanted something fun, bright and summery, and when I saw this top, I knew I had to use it.

Summer Casual

Printed Racerback Tank in White Floral - $14 - Old Navy
The print on this top is awesome, and the white fabric helps the colors pop even more.  It's light and flowy.  My absolute favorite part is the racerback design of the shirt.  I love a good racerback.

Denim Shorts in Rinse - $17.50 - Old Navy
I've said it before and I'll say it again...I LOVE DARK WASH DENIM.  Like woah.  And these are super dark.

Canvas Cap-Toe Pop Kicks in Secret Cove - $16.50 - Old Navy
These shoes look comfy and casual, and the blue color is fun and punchy.

This bag is roomy (and everyone knows I love a big bag!) and fun; the yellow stripes and roller skate add a touch of whimsy, and the contrasting straps are adorable.

Satin-Covered Bracelet in Orange - $8.50 - Old Navy
I mostly added the bracelet because I thought it went well with the shirt.  I'm not really a fan of orange, but I think it can be nice in small doses.

  1. So cute! Our old navy's only sell plus size online so I don't think about it much. I should look at it more tho. PS I love the new look!

    1. Thanks! I actually can fit into a lot of their regular sizes...I usually get my jeans there because they fit me the best and make my butt look awesome. I can't wear all the fits they have, but I can wear some. The Sweetheart is my favorite, but I like The Flirt too (although The Flirt isn't quite as comfy since it's a tighter fit).

I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I read and respond to each and every one. Thank you so much!
