I can't help myself.  Any time I so much as hear the word changes, David Bowie just starts running through my mind.

If you're not a first-time reader, you can tell that things didn't look the way they did yesterday.

"So what?" you may say.  "You change your blog design like I change my underwear."

Well, that may be true.  But I'm trying to stick with it this time (and yes, I know I say that a lot too).  I just thought this felt more me, and it looks better too I think (as does Tom, who says he especially likes the "stripey things").

The colors aren't the only things that have changed, obviously.

The menu bar has been simplified.  I think this looks better, and doesn't give you a headache from straining to see little pictures or dragging your eye in seven million directions.  Social media buttons have been moved to right under the menu bar for convenience, and I've added an email button, which I haven't had before.  You're welcome.

You can now find my ten most popular posts below the archives (my camera strap cover post has been going insane lately).  I've also simplified the blog labels to only include the most frequent ones, including my regular features (though I may add a separate area for them at a later date -- I'm a woman, and I reserve the right to change my mind, darn it!)

But anyway, back to the menu bar.

You may notice some things there that you haven't before.  But we're going to go in order from left to right, so you're just going to have to be patient, okay?

The about page has been majorly updated.  It now tells the slightly long-winded tale of a good girl gone wife, complete with new details and some never-before-seen-on-the-blog pictures.

Oh, and the aforementioned girl is me.  Just in case you weren't picking up what I was putting down.

There's a bright, shiny, new contact page, which chronicles all the many ways you can get ahold of me.

The blogroll page is pretty much the same, although there may be some new blogs since the last time you checked it.

Hey!  Another new page!  This one has all my new blog buttons (yes, you read that right -- buttons.  There are three now!)

You should grab one.  That's what the cool kids do.

And finally, we have probably the biggest change of all, although it may not necessarily seem that way on the surface: an advertising page.

Yup, you read that right.

I'm now offering actual blog sponsorships.  I realize some of you might see this as selling out, and while I'm sorry you feel that way, I do get it.  But unfortunately, this economy sucks, and times are tough for a lot of us.  If I can make money for my family through my blog, then I'm going to go for it -- I would like to buy a house sometime before I die, after all (not to mention if I end up going to an RE, it's going to end up costing me a lot of money).  This really won't mean much change for the actual blog content, although I may be writing a sponsored post from time to time.  No matter what, I promise to remain as honest with you guys as I have always been (which is totally honest, if you weren't aware).

If you're interested in sponsoring the blog, I've made it pretty easy for you.  I'm using a service called Passionfruit, and it's so simple to use that Archie could probably use it.  It's an easy way for you to manage your ad spots, whether you're buying or selling.  If you offer advertising on your blog (or are considering it), I highly recommend Passionfruit.  More details can be found on the advertising page.

I'm currently offering four different sponsorship options (and one of them won't cost you a dime!).  All ads currently run for 30 days, and spots are limited.  All graphic ads are shuffled with each unique pageview to ensure maximum exposure.

Swap Level- FREE
This is a continuance of my offer from a few weeks ago to do a sponsor swap.  If you already took me up on the swap offer, no worries -- I've already switched your ads over to Passionfruit, so you don't need to worry about setting up a new one :)  The swap option gets you a 125px x 125px ad absolutely FREE when you use the promo code FREESWAP.  I'm not sure if I'll be running the Swap option next month or not, so if you're interested, you should check it out ASAP!

Swap ads run below all other graphic ads.  All swap sponsors have the option to guest post and/or sponsor a giveaway, and will be introduced on the blog in a group post.

Archie Level - $3
Archie spots also get you a 125x125 ad.  Like the Swap ads, Archie level sponsors have the option to guest post and/or sponsor a giveaway and will be introduced in a group post.  What the Archie level gets you that the Swap level doesn't is a better location (below the Alex ads, but above the Swap ads), plus I'll use social media to help spread the word about you.  You'll get 1 Facebook link, 1 tweet and 1 Pinterest pin per month.

Alex Level - $5
Alex Level spots get you a 250x100 ad situated near the top, just below the Tom ads.  There are fewer Alex level spots available than Archie or Swap level spots, so purchasing one of these spots gets you more exposure for your buck.  Alex level spots get introduced in a group post, and get 2  Facebook links, tweet and Pinterest pins per month.  As with other sponsor levels, you can guest post and/or host a giveaway if you like.

Tom Level - $10
Tom Level ads are shown above all other ads; this helps more people see yours!  They're the largest, at 250x250.  There are also only three spots available, to ensure even more exposure.  Each Tom Level sponsor will be introduced in a individual post.  As always, you have the option to guest post and/or sponsor a giveaway.  You'll get 4 Facebook links, tweets and pins a month.

If sponsoring Good Girl Gone Wife is something you'd be interested in, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I'm really feeling good about the blog's future; June has been an AMAZING month for Good Girl Gone Wife (the stats are on the advertising page if you're interested -- I couldn't believe how rapidly readership grew this month!)

Thank you all so much for going on this crazy journey with me :)
